Caregiver Selection Process

We carefully screen our staff to insure we only place the most qualified candidates in your loved ones home to relieve some of the stress related to this transition.

  • We provide an extensive criminal F.B.I. Level 2 background check with fingerprinting
  • We provide a DMV check on our caregivers to insure their driver’s license is current and automobile insurance is valid
  • We check to insure all professional licenses are valid and current
  • We check professional employment references and work history
  • We Insure all our caregivers have a current Professional Liability Policy
  • We require ALL caregivers to apply in-person for employment by our service and never accept online applications.

Hourly Caregivers

Hourly caregivers are paid an hourly rate according to the hours they are requested to work. The hours are set by the client but a 4 hour minimum is preferred to receive the highest quality caregiver at the most cost effective rate.  Hourly caregivers are trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant or a Home Health Aide. Hourly caregivers can assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating, transferring, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, errands and many other chores that are difficult for the client to perform. The cost for hourly caregivers starts at $13.00 per hour.

Live-In Caregivers

Live-In Caregivers agree to live in the client’s home to provide extended assistance.  Since Live-In caregivers provide services at a discounted rate the client is responsible to provide basic meals and room and board.  Live-In Caregivers are required to receive 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.  Services are provided by a trained Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide. Live-In caregivers can assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating, transferring, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, errands and many other chores that are difficult for the client to perform.   The cost for a Live-In Caregiver starts at $150 per day.

Bath Visits

Bath visits are approximately 1 hour visits to assist the client with bathing, dressing and grooming.  The services are performed by a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide.  The cost for bath visits starts at $35 per visit.

Nursing Services

Nursing services are performed by a RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed practical Nurse) in the patient’s home.  Nurses can provide skilled services like Medication Management, Enteral Nutrition Support (Peg Tube Feedings), Wound Care, Colostomy Changes and other skilled services not covered by Medicare or the client’s Medical Insurance.  Nurses can perform hourly visits or longer shifts based on the client’s needs. In order to provide the most cost-effective care to our clients we will also work with the client’s Medicare and Long Term Care Insurance Policies to determine if these services are covered. The cost of nursing services varies based on the client’s needs and level of care provided.
