Lymphedema is caused by a blockage in your Lymphatic System. The blockage prevents lymph fluid from draining well, and as fluid builds up, the swelling continues. There is no cure for Lymphedema but it can be controlled if consistent care is given to the affected limb.

DiMi caregivers can assist with applying wraps or compression stockings for the affected leg or arm according to a doctor’s instruction. DiMi caregivers are vigilant in patient’s skin care and personal hygiene to avoid any complications that may occur with this condition.
