After Open Heart Surgery your surgeon will suggest a Rehabilitation Facility or Medicare Certified Home Health Agency for physical and occupational therapy to insure the best surgical outcome. Recovery time can vary in length for each individual. If you chose to go home but have still not fully recovered, DiMi Nursing can provide caregivers who will assist you during that transition phase. Should you chose to go to a Rehabilitation Facility, DiMi caregivers can also provide additional one to one assistance at the facility.
